School Council

The School Council Visit the Houses of Parliament

St Saviour's School Council

St Saviour's School Council meets every Friday with Mr. Christopher. We discuss what we like about our school and what changes we could make to make it even better. School Council is part of the St Saviour's School Improvement Team.

Charity work and Fundraising

This year, we are raising money for Claire House Children's Hospice.

About Claire House

Claire House Children’s Hospice helps seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full by creating wonderful experiences and bringing back a sense of normality to family life.

School Councillors

There are seven School Councillors this year. Councillors are responsible for making sure that decisions agreed at our meetings are carried out. They meet regularly with their class to discuss ideas and take suggestions. Pupils can also speak with their class councillor at break times.

Aims

To make sure St Saviour's is a caring school family of God's children, we have the following aims:

  • Our school will nurture and care for you
  • You will be safe in school
  • Everyone will be an achiever
  • Everyone will feel included
  • We will be a healthy school
  • We will be an active school
  • Everyone will show respect and be respected
  • We will be a responsible school

School Council promises every child that these aims are always achieved. If they aren't, we will work quickly to solve any problems.
