St Saviour's School Council

St Saviour's School Council meets every Thursday with Miss Burke. We discuss what we like about our school and suggestions of changes to make it even better.

School Councillors

There are eight School Councillors this year. Councillors are responsible for making sure that decisions agreed at our meetings are carried out. They meet every Friday with their class to discuss ideas and take suggestions. Pupils can also speak with their class councillor at break times.

To make sure St Saviour's is a caring school family of God's children, we have the following aims:

  • Our school will nurture and care for you
  • You will be safe in school
  • Everyone will be an achiever
  • Everyone will feel included
  • We will be a healthy school
  • We will be an active school
  • Everyone will show respect and be respected
  • We will be a responsible school

Egg Raffle

We are launching our Easter raffle and would like to ask each family to donate and 'egg' of your choice to help us to create exciting prizes. We are asking for eggs of any shape or size! Please hand it in to your class teacher and each School Council Representative will will collect them.

We will add ticket prices and more information on the next couple of week's newsletters.

The money raised will be given to our chosen charity for the year, CATH- Chester Aid to the Homeless.

London February 2019

School Council spent the day in London sightseeing landmarks and visiting Parliament. Although it was a very wet, cold day we had a brilliant time and learnt lots!

It was very noisy on the underground train. We were keen to use the underground maps on each train to find out which station we needed to get off at. It was exciting to see the different landmarks around London and we were lucky enough to see Changing the Guards at Buckingham Palace.

We were a little nervous when we queued for the London Eye, but glad to be out of the rain! What an amazing view!

We learnt so many things about Parliament and asked some really sensible questions. We were pleased to be allowed in the House of Commons and House of Lords!
