Last half term, our science topic was all about humans and animals. We learnt about teeth and digestion.

During our forest school session, we created our own digestive system and learnt how food travels through the body and the functions of each part of the digestive system.

We set up an experiment to find out if sugary drinks cause tooth decay. We used boiled eggs to represent the enamel on our teeth. We observed the changes over a week to find out if our predictions were correct.

We learnt about the different types of teeth and their functions. We used play-doh to show where these teeth are in our mouth and how many of each type of tooth we have.
