Today, on the feast of St Patrick, Year 6 have put into practice everything they learnt about the Holy Mass during a celebration of the Eucharist in our school. We were very fortunate to have among us a member of St Saviour’s RC Church, and Fr Edmund, who very kindly explained us all the things about the celebration of the Mass we wouldn’t necessarily know, and the children enjoyed reading passages of Scripture which they had carefully selected as well as praying about all the people and things that are important to them.
