Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession

On Sunday, 7th June, we celebrated the Solemnity of The Most Holy Body & Blood of Christ. It is customary to have a public procession with the Blessed Sacrament as a public honouring of Jesus Christ present in the Eucharist. This is a public profession of belief in Christ’s real presence in the Eucharist. It is not simply a walk or a parade, but an act of worship outside Mass.

So this is what our parish did! Led by Fr Godlove, Deacon Tony and our altar servers, there was Adoration and then a Eucharistic Procession from the Church to the Westminster Car park (near Princes Road) and back to the Church. We then ended this with Benediction.

 It was very well attended.

Praised be Jesus!
